Health privileges offered for Qatar residents had benefited me now, yesterday actually. I was in Hamad for check-up of what the red circles over my arms and legs are and additional allergies on my chest. So these are what vacation brought me, a lot more skin problems. I remember when I was in grade 6, I started to get rid of my pimples on my face, then I got over it but allergies on my back appeared and now it spread over my arms and legs. Er. :( I can’t help to be sad. I think it’s very disgusting. Subract 1 from confidence, esteem and happiness.

They are Egyptian-Qatari sisters and they are with their Egyptian mom. They removed the curtain that partitioned our cubicles because they needed more space. They thought I am alone but my mom was just sitting near. Their mother does not speak English and I don’t speak Arabic. We dealt with hand signals and lots of descriptions for a single word such as, insect – a black thing that crawls out of the bed when it is dark, which multiplies daily, crawl – (hand signals of pointer and middle finger walking). I enjoyed talking to them even if it took us minutes to understand a certain phrase. The daughters could speak the language but I’m not quite sure if it is the shallowness of vocabulary or the different pronunciation that prolonged the mutual understanding. Thank you for the triangular peanuts :> |
